How to Install poppler-utils software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

poppler-utils software package provides PDF utilities (based on Poppler), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install poppler-utils

poppler-utils is installed in your system.

Make ensure the poppler-utils package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep poppler-utils *

You will get with poppler-utils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
